![]() Although I perform regular maintenance, it is a bit difficult to do to the maintenance because of the car design. The brakes and rotors seem to wear out extremely quickly, potentially due to an issue with the cars computer applying too much pressure. Finally, the moon roof is a feature we had on the Mark VIII and was delighted to have it on this vehicle as well. I have not yet needed the air bags but I trust with Saturn's reputation for fine quality, they will function as they are supposed to. The outside of the vehicle is smartly designed it is compact, yet built with driver and passenger safety in mind. Cloth seats are comfortable and the seat controls are easily accessible. It is vital I have this information as I track gas mileage on my phone. I like the vehicle information system, again well thought out and easy to use. Especially with a new granddaughter and the possibility of shopping with her later this summer, having that remote will be a Godsend. The remote control for the vehicle works well and this is a feature I love. Not having an adjustable wiper speed in previous cars, this was definitely a plus. The steering column instrumentation is well thought out and easy to use. Seats are comfortable as are the headrests. The Saturn satisfied this requirement with no problem.Īs stated before, the Saturn is well suited for long drives. We had to consider the trunk size since at the time, I was toting a synthesizer in its case, as well as music, a stand and a speaker. The glove and middle seat compartments are easily reached and are roomy. The stereo and the auxiliary input both perform well and we have had no problems. The inside of the vehicle is comfortable for long drives and the dashboard has easy access to all instrumentation. It did take a little getting used to to not hear the engine when stopped but miles per hour definitely increased from our previous vehicle, a Lincoln Mark VIII. This leads me to believe that the vehicle was quality controlled well. Maintenance has been minimal as has recalls. It is easy to maneuver and takes curves and corners well. The car drives well and has a very appealing design, inside and out.
